Last days in Chengdu doesn’t pass quite

Here it is - my last days in Chengdu. As some of you know, I have been stressed out most of my time here - visa issues, irresponsible agency employees, adaptation to local politeness of Chinese people and most common feature of working class man (and woman sometimes) - spitting.. On friday all my worries were over as I got back my passport and though I would be able to enjoy last few days with my sweetie here. Nevertheless, today morning wasn’t exactly what I planned. I opened my email box which had my mum’s and sister’s emails on the top. Damn Iceland volcano is not willing to give me some time off from worrying. All Europe air traffic is paralyzed by the bloody ash from some volcano in Iceland and the prognoses of ash clouds doesn’t seem great. Although my flight back to Europe is only on Friday next week, it seems that volcano might be active not only for the next few days but even for the months!!! It made me really upset as I was very much looking forward to come back home, fix my teeth, meet friends, have a haircut and head off to China again to start my challenging half year job in Expo 2010. Well, lets keep fingers crossed, I am still hoping to get back home. Volcano, pleaseeee do not mess up my plans!
